AWOS III Weather Station Installation
Lake Simcoe Regional Airport is the proud owner of a new AWOS III Weather station. This project from the start of discussions to commissioning was done in a little under two months. The installation of equipment went smoothly although with Covid restrictions, logistics planning had to be perfect for this to work out. Fortunately, it all went as planned and Lake Simcoe is up and running with their new AWOS.
We used the existing bases and tower because they were in great condition and just took down the old equipment and put up the new.
Installation and service work in a pandemic takes very precise planning and execution or it could be a disaster for both ANS and the customer.
