Role Description:
As the Field Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and support of electronic equipment across diverse locations, primarily situated outside of New Brunswick. This role provides the opportunity for both national and international travel, allowing you to explore captivating destinations and broaden your horizons. During the peak season from April to October, you’ll immerse yourself in this exciting adventure, spending about 60% of your time in the field. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with project teams on installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment.
- Participating in the design and installation of airfield navigational aids, weather systems, and communication equipment.
- Conducting calibration and troubleshooting of electronic equipment, with an emphasis on electrical diagnostics.
- Participating in remote fieldwork and traveling to diverse locations, both nationally and internationally.
- Contributing to the formulation of project-related documentation and engineering plans.
- Upholding ANS Inc.‘s unwavering commitment to excellence in navigation and communication systems.

Your qualifications include:
- Electronics Technology Diploma or demonstrated post-secondary equivalent
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Fundamental electrical and mechanical proficiency
- Clean driver’s abstractv
- Ability to travel both nationally and internationally, with a valid passport
- Airfield experience is an asset
- Project management skills are considered an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset
